Carl Wilson’s dream of turning an abandoned Interstate 90 overpass in northern Idaho into a wildlife crossing became a reality thanks to the dedication of fellow RMEF volunteers and partners. After Wilson passed away in 2022, friends and supporters completed the final phase of the project in summer 2025, honoring his legacy and commitment to conservation. The crossing stands as a lasting benefit for wildlife and future generations, made possible through collaboration between RMEF and multiple conservation and transportation partners.
